Entry at 7+

Year 3 · September 2027

Entry to the Prep School at seven is competitive. Candidates sit a set of age-appropriate tests, and the number of places depends on how many Pre-Prep boys move up.

  • Registration: Open from birth
  • Informal session: Arranged just over a year before entry (generally September)
  • Offers: In order of registration, siblings first

7+

Year 3 · September 2027

  • Registration: Open from birth
  • Assessment: Generally January of Year 2; parents contacted in the Michaelmas Term
  • Chorister offers: Made before non-chorister entry

Chorister

Year 2 trials · Start Year 3

  • Voice trials: January, when a boy is in Year 2
  • Chorister training begins: September of Year 3
